ON THIS EPISODE
On this weeks Podcast, we sit down with winning competitor Kevin Bull of American Ninja Warrior. Being an American Ninja Warrior means accomplishing obstacles on the fly, facing unexpected challenges and exploring unchartered athletic ability. The element of surprise and fear rolled up into one movement. Kevin has proven to America that Kevin Bull known as “The Bull” isn’t going anywhere.
When Kevin graduated college, he was working at a bank, then began specializing in stock trading, but he had a gut feeling that this path was not going to be his life long career. Luckily, growing up, Kevin and his brother were masters of climbing and jumping, then later Parkour, which all would come in handy somewhere down the road.
So, when Kevin Bull decided to quit his job years ago, his boss asked him, “Where are you going to work?”
To which Kevin responded, “I don’t have anything lined up. I’m either going to go back to school or become a Ninja Warrior.”
Kevin talks about perseverance and patience to get the opportunity you are fighting for. He believes the reason for success is running the extra mile and getting knocked down before you make it. Be willing to be patient because having the skill to do so is half the battle and a special trait. Kevin was able to get through the pressure and stress of televised competition by separating self from the situation. He became a tool to achieve his goals.
On top of his busy American Ninja Warrior schedule, he was asked to be the General Manager of the new DoJo Boom gym located at 193 N Moorpark Road, Suite A, Thousand Oaks, California. Activities are for all age groups and target your specific needs. Become the inner warrior you’ve allayed dreamed about.
If you need some motivation/adrenalin rush, check out one of his first obstacle runs that proved his name to America, the Cannonball Alley.
