On this weeks episode we have the pleasure of having Kim Sill, the owner of Shelter Hope Pet Shop located in the Janss Marketplace. Kim rescues animals from kill shelters that ultimately need a second chance of love, trust and protection.
Shelter Hope was founded in 2011 and ever since they have saved countless animals, from bunnies to horses, you name it Kim and her team comes to the rescue. This incredible shop is a sustainable nonprofit business model to save animals.
Kim searches daily on the “red list” which has thousands of dogs being prepared to be put down. They try so hard to get as many off the horrible list and add them into their system. She rushes no matter the location to recover the animals. It is her mission to instill information to everyone that 9 million dogs get killed at these kills shelters. Not only does she rescue these dogs, Kim also helps the future dogs by making mass produced dogs illegal.
Find out her heroic act helping families with pets during the Woosley Fire. We need more Kim’s in the world.
